Snowflake’s boys’ team was coming off a nearly two-week idle stretch when they traveled to face the Roadrunners in Holbrook on Wednesday last week. Unfortunately, that game had to be suspended at the 14-minute mark of the first half due to lightning and rain. Since the game did not make it into the second half, by rule the game will have started over from the beginning when the two teams met in Holbrook on Monday for the rescheduled game. On Wednesday the Lobos are slated to host Show Low.

This upcoming weekend they will play in the Chino Cup tournament in Chino Valley where they will face Grand Canyon and Madison Highland on Friday. Saturday’s matches will be against Sedona and Blue Ridge.

The Lady Lobos played one regular season match last week, picking up a 6-0 home-field win over Camp Verde on Tuesday. That win moved their regular season record to 3-2-1.

This past weekend they competed in the Chino Cup hosted by Chino Valley. Snowflake played well earning wins in all five matches they played. On Friday they defeated Blue Ridge 3-1, and Holbrook 11-0. Saturday’s matches were a 6-0 win over Page, followed by a 2-1 win over host Chino Valley, and a 7-0 win over Blue Ridge.

This week they will travel to Round Valley on Tuesday for their only match of the week. Next Tuesday they play in Flagstaff at Northland Prep.
