The public is invited to Winslow to celebrate yet another art car reveal as the First Baptist Church prepares to unveil its work of art at 12 noon on Sunday, Sept. 24, at the corner of 4th Street and Warren Avenue. Unlike the other art cars in the city, which are Volkswagen Beetles, this art car will be a 1941 Hudson Commodore. The celebration will include free hot dogs, chips and drinks. Those who helped make this project possible include Janet Currell of Currell’s Bargain Barn, Jack Dalton with Dalton Motors, O’Reilly’s Auto Parts, Harold Nimtz with House of Tint, Tri R Towing, Tim Westover with the City of Winslow, Ken Light with Wild West Xpress, LLC, the Winslow Arts Council, the Winslow Chamber of Commerce, Doug Walton with HMR Metal Works, and Andy Lowry with Big Lowry’s Customs.
