Kandra Dayle Reese, “Kandy” of Westminster, Md., passed peacefully on March 16, 2023, surrounded by her family. Born March 22, 1959, in Franklin, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Dale Hubbard and the late Lois (Coleman) Hubbard. As a teenager, Kandy moved to Holbrook with her family. It was there that she met her husband, Dave, and established their family. They made the hard decision to leave Holbrook to be with their “grandbabies,” but she always remained connected to her friends that were like family there. Kandy loved music, dancing, and spending time with her grandchildren; riding them around in her Mustang convertible. Her warm, welcoming personality, kind heart and sense of humor will be missed by all those that had the pleasure to know her. Kandy is survived by her husband, Dave; her son, Sean (Nicole); grandchildren, David and Morgan; sisters, Debbie Wilder, Cindy Hubbard, Alice Hubbard, Michele Parker (Danny) and Christine Truex (Miles); and stepmother, Fonda Wegleitner (Vern). A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holbrook Senior Center, 216 Joy Nevin Avenue, Holbrook, AZ 86025.
