The Winslow Police Department received three reports of theft during the period of Feb. 27 – March 5 according to dispatcher reports. At 8:24 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, a resident reported the theft of a wallet and medical documents from a vehicle parked in the 600 block of East Oak Street. At 7:04 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, an employee of Walmart, located at 700 Mike’s Pike, reported the theft of CD’s. James Curell, 50, was arrested for shoplifting in connection with the incident. At 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 3, a resident reported the theft of a cell phone from a vehicle parked at Safeway, located at 1601 N. Park Drive.
