The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Feb. 12-25. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. At 6:41 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, Taylor Steeds, 22, of Chandler was arrested for extreme DUI with a blood alcohol content of .15% or more following a traffic stop on Zamorana Lane in Overgaard. At 11:36 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, Cory J. Porter, 18, of Phoenix was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop in the 2800 block of State Route 260 in Overgaard.
