While most area schools are either in the playoffs or already eliminated from the state playoffs, Snowflake continues regular season play at the 4A level. The Lobos still have two weeks left before they will be involved in the state football playoff conversation.
Last Friday they ended a two-game losing skid with a 42-0 bounce back home field win over Benjamin Franklin. That win pushes their regular season record to 5-3 and should keep them ranked in the top 10 of the 4A rankings.
Snowflake will travel to take on Poston Butte this Friday. The Broncos are ranked fifth in 4A with a 6-2 record and are coming off a three-game winning streak. Two weeks ago, they defeated Benjamin Franklin 40-13. Based on that statistic, this Friday’s home game with Snowflake should be a closely contested match-up.
The Lobos final regular season game will be at ALA Gilbert North on November 11th.
