The Lady Lobos soccer team played just once last week picking up a 6-0 road win at Round Valley on Tuesday. That pushed their overall regular season record to 6-2-1. They should enter this week ranked third in the power points. The Ladies have three games left on the schedule with one home game slated this week. They will host sixth ranked Blue Ridge on Tuesday in their final home game before finishing out the regular season on the road next week with games at St. Johns on the 18th, and at Camp Verde on the 20th. The top six teams qualify for post-season play in girls’ soccer. Snowflake is well positioned to extend their season.

Snowflake battled tough against sixth-ranked Blue Ridge on Wednesday last week, but eventually lost 2-1. The ninth-ranked Lobos now have three games left in which to climb into the top eight of the power rankings in order to reach the postseason. They traveled to Payson on Monday for their only action this week. Next week they will host St. Johns on Monday, then will wrap up the regular season at Round Valley on Thursday the 20th. If they can finish inside the top eight in the rankings, they will qualify for the state tournament. The team was 4-3-2 heading into this week’s action.
