Mathias Montijo gained nine yards and Darnell Nez picked up 11 yards.

Homecoming this week in Holbrook. The Roadrunners have been on the road for the past two weeks picking up easy wins over lesser opponents. This week they will face the Falcons which while having an impressive record at 4-1, their wins have come over teams that really struggle in football.
Last year, Alchesay shared the region title with Holbrook and St. Johns. When Holbrook traveled to Whiteriver they blew out the Falcons by a large margin. Look for Friday’s game to be similar. Holbrook’s offense has too much firepower for the ground and pound style offense the Falcons have. While Alchesay can take a lot of time off the clock they don’t have the type of team that can come from behind which puts them in a tough spot against Holbrook’s offense. While homecoming activities can cause distractions for most teams it still won’t matter in this game. Look for the Roadrunners to move to 7-0 with another win setting up a big game with St. Johns next week.
