The Wildcats have their first streak going this season and it is a two-game winning streak thanks to their 63-16 dismantling of Desert Heights Prep on Friday night. That win combined with last week’s 39-20 win over Ray is the first time they have backed up a win with another win. Joseph City is now 3-1 on the season. This week they will look to make it three in a row when they travel to Colorado City to take on the high-scoring El Capitan Eagles. El Capitan is also 3-1 on the season and is coming off a 54-0 shutout over Fredonia. Their first two wins have come against small schools in Utah. El Capitan is averaging 53 points per game including their only loss which was a 56-54 shootout with Superior.
