Joseph City’s bipolar season continued during the week of Aug. 28 – Sept. 2. After winning handily in week one over Mohave Accelerated, then getting dominated by Hayden in week two, the Wildcats bounced back in week three with a 39-20 road win at Kearny Ray. The Ray Bearcats piled up 277 yards on the ground but completed only 24 yards of passes on the night. That lopsided offensive attack wasn’t enough to keep Joseph City from moving to 2-1 on the season.
