One collision was investigated by Holbrook police officers during the period of March 23-29, according to dispatcher reports. At 11:54 a.m. on Sunday, March 27, a two vehicle, non-injury collision occurred in the 400 block of West Hopi Drive. The vehicles involved were a maroon Hyundai, driven by Scott Badger, 54, of Holbrook and a multi-colored Yamaha motorcycle driven by Nicholas Hurt, 52, of Tustin, Calif. According to the report, Badger was traveling west on Hopi Drive in the inside lane when the motorcycle exited a private drive without looking and struck the side of the Hyundai. Hurt was cited for failure to yield from a private drive.
