The Lobos were busy last week with four games on their schedule, but they were up to the challenge winning all four of those contests with none of the four being relatively close games.

They began the week with a lopsided 83-44 road win in Winslow over the struggling Bulldogs on Monday night. On Wednesday night they began a three-game home stretch with a 67-39 win over visiting Blue Ridge. Two days later they backed that up with a 67-48 home court win over Payson.

Playing outside the East Region on Saturday the Lobos took care of Page by a final of 57-33.

Snowflake was ranked ninth in power points prior to their last two wins over Payson and Page, and although neither of those teams is ranked very high, Snowflake may find themselves a sport or two higher when the rankings come out on Tuesday.

This week they will close out the regular season with three region games. They will be in Blue Ridge on Tuesday, then will host Winslow on Wednesday, and Holbrook on Friday night.

The state tournament gets underway on Wednesday next week with first round games played at the higher seed sites. The top eight teams in the final rankings will receive first round byes.

Snowflake is 11-8 overall heading into the final three games. Their regular season record now stands at 11-4.
