Doris Elaine Pogue Doris Elaine Pogue, 79, of Joseph City passed away on Jan. 11 in Flagstaff. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, in Joseph City cemetery, followed by a lunch at the LDS church in Joseph City. Elaine was born in Cashion on June 5, 1942. She married George, the love of her life on June 14, 1960, in Tolleson. In 1965, Elaine and George moved to Joseph City with their three children. Elaine lived in Joseph City for over 56 years. She worked at the Joseph City water utilities company for many years until she retired. Elaine loved Joseph City and everyone in it. It was her home, and she couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Elaine is survived by many dear friends that were family to her. Her best friend Pat Pogue and dear friend Jim Graham, and so many others. Her brother Jerry Cahoon; children, Sam Pogue, Rick Pogue and Shonna Willingham; grandchildren, Chris Bennett, Robert Pogue, Josh Pogue, Nikki Pogue and Devon Pogue; and great-grandchildren Kasen Pogue, Skylar Bennett, Colt Bennett and Finley Pogue. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, George Pogue and grandson, Craig Bennett. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
