By Greg Perkins With just two weeks left until the beginning of the state tournament, the Lady Lobos are in prime position to enter the state bracket as the number one overall seed. Snowflake enters this week ranked number one, ahead of second ranked Valley Christian and number three Thatcher. Their only action last week was a 3-0 east region road win over Show Low on Wednesday night. This week they will be much busier. After hosting 13th ranked Winslow on Tuesday night the Lobos will travel to Payson on Thursday night. On Saturday they make the long trip to Kayenta to face No. 5 Monument Valley. With region teams, Holbrook, Winslow and Blue Ridge having to adjust schedules late in the season, Snowflake’s final week of regular season play will keep them busy with three straight matches. On Oct. 26 they host Blue Ridge, the 27th they travel to Winslow and on the 28th they will play in Holbrook.
