Chizuko Robinson It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt Chizuko “Suzie” Robinson. Suzie was born on Feb. 8, 1944, in Emukae Japan to Sadao Nishiura and Natsu Tanimura Nishiura. She attended schools in Emukae and graduated in 1961. Upon graduation she relocated to Sasebo Japan in search of employment. There she met an American sailor Tom Robinson, they fell in love and were married on Dec. 20, 1963. Upon Tom’s retirement from the U.S. Navy in 1980 they moved to Holbrook where she operated successful diners until the day she entered heaven on her 77th birthday Feb. 8, 2021. She was known for her cooking especially her Oriental food. Loved by everyone that had met her she will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her father, Sadao Nishiura; mother, Natsu Tanimura Nishiura; and her infant son, John William Robinson. No services planned.
