By K. Conner On Feb. 16, the Lady Bulldogs hosted the Lady Yellowjackets with the Lady Bulldogs taking an early 14-6 lead in the first quarter. This lead continued in the second quarter with the Ladies out front of the Yellowjackets to take a half time lead 38-18. In the second half the Lady Bulldogs stayed in the driver’s seat with a third quarter score of 55-37 and wrapped the game up with a final score of Bulldogs 73 and Blue Ridge 58. The high scorer of the game was the Yellowjacket’s Chantel Suttle with 22 points, Veta Carroll also had 10 points. Winslow had three players in double digits Kylie Begay with 16 points, four steals and eight rebounds; Jaci Gonnie with 15 points; and Sierra Singer with 10 points and four steals.
