By Greg Perkins Joseph City has just six games scheduled this year and with that abbreviated season they have reached the halfway point of their campaign. The Wildcats struggled in week one with a 0-22 shut out road loss at Anthem Prep. The following week they did score once but gave up 61 points to a talented Williams squad. Friday night, playing in Mayer the Wildcats broke into the win column with a 32-22 final outcome against the fellow Wildcats. This week Joseph City will try to make it two in a row when they host El Capitan on Friday night. The Eagles will be a tough out, having posted 136 points in their first two games. However, Mogollon brought them back to earth last week with a 48-8 loss. El Capitan is 2-1 thus far.
