Holbrook School District

By Linda Kor Holbrook High School will be on a virtual-only schedule for school this week due to COVID cases that were confirmed at school. According to Superintendent Dr. Robbie Koerperich, the cases were limited to front office staff and were confirmed Oct. 8 and 9, prior to going on fall break. Koerperich stated that “everyone is doing fine, just erring on the side of caution to minimize exposure.” Koerperich noted that this was a choice by district administration that aligns with the district’s plan to keep students, staff and campuses safe, healthy and educational. “Part of our 12-Point Plan is that there will be ‘intermittent’ closures such as this depending on cases, exposure, etc.,” stated Koerperich. “We plan to begin Phase III at HHS on Monday, Oct. 26. All other schools will begin Phase III on Monday, Oct. 19.”
