The Holbrook Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) traveled to the Region 2 Conference held at the Arizona State Polytechnic in Mesa. Approximately 371 FBLA members, advisors and supporters attended the conference from 24 different schools. The students went to compete in individual testing events and individual and team performance events. Some of the events included Cyber Security, Political Science, Personal Finance, Impromptu Speaking, and Computer Game & Simulation Programming. The students gained valuable insight to how the FBLA competitions operate. It was a successful day with all four Roadrunner FBLA members placing in their individual and team events. In the individual events senior Jade Knight placed first in Organizational Leadership, junior Ciera Irving placed third in Business Communication, and junior Simon Liu placed first in Cyber Security and second in Computer Problem Solving. The team of Simon Liu and David DeTiege placed first in Computer Game & Simulation Programming.
