The Lady Lobos bounced back from Tuesday’s 41-39 home court loss to Holbrook by surviving a scare from Show Low on Friday night. The Cougars battled the Lobos tough leading deep into the second half. In the closing moments of the game Snowflake was able to hang on to secure the 45-38 home court win.
This week the Lobos will take their top 10 ranking to Winslow on Wednesday for a match up with the Bulldogs. Winslow should enter the game ranked near the top 10 as well and with two new transfer players now in the Bulldog lineup they will be a formidable opponent for what has become a very good Snowflake Lady Lobo team.
After facing Winslow on Wednesday, the Lobos will play at Blue Ridge on Friday. Next Tuesday Snowflake will host Payson.
Snowflake heads into this week’s action ranked at least sixth with a regular season mark of 9-3. They are 17-4 overall.
