The Lady Wildcats’ struggles continued last week dropping both of their games. On Tuesday, Jan. 21, the team scored fairly well on the road at Williams, finishing the game with 27 points but their opponent Williams drained 64 handing them the loss.
Hosting rival Mogollon on Friday, things didn’t get much better, with the Wildcats facing their second tough team in back-to-back games. Mogollon has played well this season and they proved their worth handing Joseph City a 58-21 home court loss.
After hosting Williams on Tuesday, Joseph City will play at Northland Prep in Flagstaff on Thursday. Saturday the Ladies will wrap up their regular season with two games. They will play Fort Thomas in Fort Thomas at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, then at 3:30 p.m. they will face NFL Yet at the same location.
The Wildcats will compete in the 1A Central Tournament, which begins on Feb. 5. Joseph City is currently 2-11 in power point contests.
