“After looking at it, the bids came in, the low bidder was Show Low Construction. The low bid was $462,954 to do the completion of the fencing as well as the reconstruction improvements to the parking area there. That puts us about $58,000 over what’s available to us in those federal funds. So, what I’m recommending tonight is that you award the contract, schedules one and two, to Show Low Construction with the stipulation that we will not proceed with schedule two if we don’t have a fully funded federal grant,” resolved Lundberg. The notion was approved unanimously on the stipulation that parking space will not be expanded if additional funds do not become available for the completion of the project.
