A viewing for Maria Elena Aguilera, 87, will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 12, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Holbrook. Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Holbrook City Cemetery.

She was born on Feb. 22, 1932, to Antonio and Maria del Carmen Lopez in Aguascalientes, Mexico. She has been a resident of Holbrook since 1973. She enjoyed singing, being surrounded by family, and cooking for family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Jesus, Armando (Lourdes), Antonio (Cristina), Raul (Cheri), Eduardo, Luis (Lupe) and Mario (Johana) Aguilera; daughters, Estela (Oscar) Barron and Nora Aguilera; sister, Rosa Zamora; brothers, Gilberto Lopez and Manuel Esparza; 45 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eleno Aguilera; daughter, Luz Maria Quintana; and mom, Carmen Lopez.
