After struggling through the first two thirds of the season the Lady Wildcats are closing out the regular season on a hot streak. Last week’s three wins moved their current win streak to seven games. The Wildcats are also on the cusp of qualifying for the 1A state playoffs. If they can finish inside the top 16 in the final rankings they will play in the state tournament. Joseph City was ranked 16th prior to a pair of wins over Alchesay on Friday and Saturday and could move up before playing their final two games of the regular season at home against Mogollon on Tuesday.
