Winslow’s track teams were in Lakeside on Friday for the Blue Ridge Invitational track meet. The Bulldogs joined 19 other teams as the track season begins winding it’s way towards the state meet held in a few weeks.

Snowflake won the boys division with 175 team points. Show Low followed with 127, host Blue Ridge had 95.5, Coconino 58 and Chinle rounded out the top five with 57 points. Winslow’s boys team placed sixth with 38 team points.

The Lady Lobos also cruised to another win with 242 team points. Coconino followed with 77.5, Show Low had 50.5, and Winslow was fourth with 48. Ganado wrapped up the top five with 44 points.

For the Bulldogs in the boys 100 meter dash, James Bordner was ninth; Jake Rubi, 23rd; and Izaiah Cordova, 36th.
