Ray Earl White passed away Nov. 23, 2018. He was born to Raymond and Elizabeth White on April 24-1944. Services for Ray will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, at the First Southern Baptist Church, located at 360 N. First Ave. in Holbrook. Ray graduated from Holbrook High School in 1963 and got married to his high school sweetheart Kathy on Feb. 26, 1966. In 1972 he retired from the Air Force as a sergeant. He went to work for Cholla Ready Mix where he worked for 30 plus years. After he retired he went to work for the Holbrook School District where he drove a school bus and was loved by all his kids that he had met. He enjoyed everything in life, especially going to church and volunteering for anything that would help within his community. His hobbies included drag racing, sand drags, going to car shows and working on cars of all types. He loved boating and fishing as well. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kathrine White of Holbrook; sons, Raymond Troy White of Mesa, Randy Lee (Rita) White of Holbrook and Roy Earl White of Chandler; sisters, Mary Ann (Carl) Somdahl of Oregon and Francis Nebo of Oregon; and brother, Roy Joe (Terri) White of Holbrook. He had six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Elizabeth White.
