Both Roadrunner soccer teams will see their respective seasons come to a close this week. After hosting Blue Ridge on Monday evening the boys team will put a wrap on the season today (Oct. 17) with a trip to Payson. Holbrook enters the final week with an overall record of 1-9 after falling at home to Round Valley last Monday by a final of 2-6.
The Lady Roadrunners did not play during fall break last week and have just one match left this season. On Tuesday they were to have played their final match on the road at Camp Verde. Holbrook headed into the match in search of their only win this season.
Despite winning just one regular season match between them this season, both programs have shown improvement throughout the season.
