Snowflake Head Coach Alan Ramage once again has his volleyball team near the top of the power rankings. With the initial release of the 3A rankings on Tuesday, the 8-0 Lobos find themselves ranked second in the state. Snowflake picked up their eighth regular season win on Tuesday by sweeping 13th ranked Blue Ridge in three games. The Lobos won the home match 25-16, 25-15 and 25-20.
That win was their eighth regular season win but improved their overall season mark, including tournaments to 23-5. In their most recent tournament played last weekend in Monument Valley, the Lobos went 8-2. Their only two losses were to third ranked Tuba City.
After playing at Payson on Thursday, the Lobos hosted Holbrook on Tuesday of this week.
