The Mustangs have just one regular season loss this season, that coming against Snowflake which is ranked second in the 3A ranks.
Joseph City is ranked 26th in the 1A ranks and they have a lot of work to do in the month of October if they want to advance to the post season. Hosting the Mustangs on Tuesday, Sept. 25, the Lady Wildcats really struggled. Mogollon won the first game 25-9, took the second 25-16, then closed out the match winning game three 25-21.
Joseph City will have played at Mayer on Tuesday then will travel to Williams on Thursday. Over the weekend they will host the Joseph City Invitational Volleyball tournament. The Wildcats are slated to face Alchesay, Fort Thomas and Rock Point in pool play on Friday. Saturday’s schedule will be determined by pool play results.
Next week the Wildcats return to the regular season with a double-header match at NFL Yet High School on Monday. On Wednesday next week they will travel to Mogollon. The Wildcats are currently 2-8 in regular season matches.
