Snowflake’s boys soccer team picked up a tie and took a loss in their two matches played last week moving their regular season mark to 2-2-1. Hosting Ash Fork/Seligman on Sept. 11, they battled the Spartans to a 1-1 overtime tie. That match may have taken it’s toll on the Lobo team as they had to play in Blue Ridge the following day where they suffered a 6-0 shut out loss to the Yellowjackets.
After hosting Round Valley on Tuesday, the Lobos will have a week off to prepare for their road trip to Payson, which will be on Sept. 26.
The Lady Lobos team is currently 2-3 on the season. They split two matches played last week dropping a 0-3 road decision at Page on Sept. 11, but the team bounced back the next day with a 7-0 home field win over Holbrook on Wednesday.
After playing at Northland Prep on Tuesday the Lady Lobos will compete in the Thunder in the Dome tournament in Round Valley this weekend. They return to regular season action on Sept. 25 with a road trip to face Blue Ridge.
