The Lady Roadrunner volleyball team went 2-4 at the Snowflake Invitational held over the weekend. On Friday, the Roadrunners lost to Thatcher 0-2 and Mesquite 0-2, then bounced back with a 2-0 win over Pinon.
Holbrook returned to Snowflake on Saturday morning where they started things off on the right foot with a 2-0 win over Many Farms. Holbrook played a little better in their final two matches despite falling to both Sabino and Pima by 1-2 final outcomes.
Holbrook is currently 1-4 in regular season matches, and after making a brief return to power point contests with a home court match against Show Low on Tuesday, they will travel to Monument Valley on Friday to compete in the Kayenta Township Mustang Volleyball Tournament.
Following that tourney the team will have only regular season matches left on their schedule beginning with a road trip to Payson on Sept. 25.
