Holbrook Mayor Bobby Tyler and Councilman CJ Wischmann will each be facing a contender for their seats in the November election. Former city councilman Phil Cobb has submitted paperwork for the position of mayor and Mike Nilsson has submitted paperwork for the council seat. The election was called following the submission of a recall petition to remove them from office. The recall petition cited “unprofessional, unethical and vindictive behavior” on behalf of both Tyler and Wischmann serving in their rolls on the council. Both men refuted the claims made against them resulting in the need for the election. The election will be part of the Holbrook ballot for the Nov. 6 election.
