Get your favorite salsa recipe and take part in Navajo County Fair’s Fresh Homemade Salsa Competition to be held this Saturday in the Open Class Building. The entry fee is $3 per category for contestants 13 and older who must provide one quart of salsa per entry with recipe included. Entries must be received by 2 p.m. with public judging from 3 to 5 p.m. There is a $1 charge for a bag of chips to taste great salsa and be a judge. Prizes will be awarded to winners in each category in mild and hot.
