The Winslow High School Bulldogs junior varsity football team will play nine games this season starting tomorrow, Aug. 16, the day before the varsity’s first game, against the Blue Ridge Yellowjackets in Pinetop.
Winslow will host the next two junior varsity games on Saturday, Aug. 25, against Monument Valley and on Thursday, Aug. 30, against Page.
The young Bulldogs will meet the Chinle team on Thursday, Sept. 6, in Chinle, although there was some confusion on the schedule provided and this game could wind up being played in Winslow.
The next road game will be in Tuba City on Thursday, Sept. 20, against the Warriors.
Winslow will host the next three games on Thursday, Sept. 27, against Show Low, on Wednesday, Oct. 3, against Holbrook and on Thursday, Oct. 10, against Payson.
The final game of the season will be played in Snowflake on Thursday, Oct. 25.
