Russell “Russ” Winkler passed away in San Tan Valley on July 10, 2018, unexpectedly of natural causes. Russ was born on Dec. 24, 1968, to James Winkler and Janice Hatch Winkler. A graveside service was held on July 14, at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor. Russ lived in Sanders, Holbrook, Phoenix, Chandler and San Tan Valley. His profession was an AC technician. His hobbies included working on his truck and woodworking. He also loved going to the temple and going to the movies. He is survived by his mother, Janice Winkler; James Winkler and Catherine Winkler; his sister, Debra (Donald) Hall; brother, Rodney Winkler; many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Eldon Winkler. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled the arrangements.
