The Holbrook City Council gave final approval without discussion to a $10.3 million dollar budget during a meeting on July 5, with that the only item on the agenda. The new budget is a total increase of $401,282 over the prior year budget. No salary or cost of living increases were added into the tentative proposal.

The biggest change in the budget was the addition of funds to cover the salary of a new city manager and the new code enforcement officer, increasing administration costs by $140,000 and code enforcement by $8,300.

The vote was unanimous with council members Francie Payne, Tim Dixon, CJ Wischmann, Earl Kester and Vice Mayor Richard Peterson in attendance at the council chambers. Councilman Adam Marsh was present telephonically and Mayor Bobby Tyler was not in attendance.
