Elaine Ruth (Behm) Snell of Sun City; wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed peacefully on June 20, 2018. A memorial service in her honor will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, at Peace Lutheran Church in Holbrook. Born in Chicago in 1926 to Frederick and Alma Behm, she attended school and worked in Chicago. It was at work where she met her future husband Herman Paul Snell. Elaine and Paul were married in 1954 and migrated from the windy city to Arizona where they made their home. She was a resident of Holbrook for 40 years until moving to the Phoenix area 10 years ago to be closer to family. She is survived by daughter, Linda (Mark) Greinke; sons, Paul (Connie), Eric (Nancy) and Kirk (Jill); five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, parents and siblings.
