William Thomas “Tommy” “T-ball” Baldwin was born on May 31, 1959, in Holbrook to the late William “Bill” Thomas Sr. and Billie Ruth Baldwin. He passed away at his home in Holbrook on May 6, 2018. There will be a gathering to celebrate his life at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, at the Holbrook Cemetery followed by a potluck at the Holbrook Fire Station No. 3. Tommy was a member of the Holbrook Fire Department for years and upon the death of his dad, he continued the Holbrook 4th of July barbecue tradition by making the well known “Baldwin’s Barbecue Sauce,” which has been in the family for decades. Tommy loved to hunt and fish with his son William and his friends, and had often mentioned retiring to a place where he could hunt and fish year round. He never met a stranger and was liked by all that got to know him. Tommy “T-Ball” is survived by his wife, Carol Baldwin of Phoenix; his daughter, Camille Baldwin of Phoenix; his son, William Thomas Baldwin III of Phoenix; sisters, Laura Brown of Benton, Ark., and Debbie Baldwin-Connell of Holbrook. He is also survived by his granddaughter, nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces, and other family members who will miss him and his smile greatly. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, William “Bill” Thomas Baldwin Sr. and Billie Ruth Baldwin. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
