Obit Phillips Holly Beth

Holly was born Feb. 6, 1986, in Flagstaff and went to be with Jesus on March 21, 2018.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, at Grace Chapel, located at 8524 E. Thomas Road in Scottsdale.

Holly attended grade school in Holbrook and graduated from Holbrook High School in 2004. She went on to attend Northland Pioneer College and received her cosmetology license. She loved doing hair and being in the beauty industry.

Holly married Rodney Phillips in 2008. They had a boy and a girl. They later divorced.

In 2013, Holly and her two children moved to Phoenix to receive specialized medical attention for her daughter and dedicated her life to her care.

In 2016, Holly was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She had been trying to beat it ever since. She stayed positive to the end, which made her death surprise us all.

Holly loved her kids immensely and has been known for the advocacy role she played in her daughter’s medical journey with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy. She was an encourager to all who were going through tough times.

Those who wish to contribute in Holly’s name are welcome to send donations to Ryan House (www.ryanhouse.org). We are blessed by all they have done; they have been amazing help.

Holly is survived by her two children, Alijah Jordan and Avaleah Grace; her brother, Tilden Roberson; and her parents, Wallace and Lucy Roberson.
