The Lady Wildcats haven’t enjoyed much success this season but they did pick up an 11-10 home field win over Round Valley on Friday. That win was just their third regular season win of the season and their first since opening the season with a pair of victories over Ash Fork on March 2.
That win was preceded by a 6-14 road loss at St. Johns on Tuesday, leaving Joseph City with a regular season record of 3-2 as they head into this week’s action.
After facing St. Johns again on Tuesday, this time at home, they will travel to Chinle on Thursday.
With the initial 1A rankings set to be released on Tuesday, the Wildcats may find they will need to pick up some wins in the second half of the season in order to make the post season.
