Samuel Harmon passed away on Feb. 7, 2018, in Georgetown, Ohio, at a Veterans Affairs nursing facility. He was born on Aug. 24, 1924, in Midway, Tenn. He was a long time resident of Sun Valley, Ariz. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the Holbrook Cemetery, located at 100 E. Iowa St. Samuel is survived by his four children, Sam Harmon Jr. of Sun Valley, Levi and Shirley Jones of Ashland, Ohio, Bill and Liz Harmon of Florida and David Harmon of Phoenix. There are also eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Samuel was preceded in death by his wife, Norma and granddaughter, Angel Harmon. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
