Obit Moore Dellis

Dellis Glen Moore, son of Thomas E. Moore and Doris Holt Moore, died peacefully while being a patient at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, on Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, with his two loving sisters at his side. Services were held at Owens Livingston Mortuary-Heritage Chapel on Feb. 2, and he was then buried in the Joseph City Cemetery. Dellis was born on Jan. 20, 1966, while his father was in the Army, serving at Ft. Riley, Kan. He was the third child of four, born into his family. He graduated from Joseph City High School. He then went to work in the pineapple fields in Hawaii. Shortly after that he served a full time, two-year mission in the Ohio, Columbus Mission. After returning from his mission he lived in Joseph City and with his father in West Palm Beach, Fla. for a while. He then moved to Taylor where he lived with his Uncle Leo Holt until his passing. Dellis was a very quiet man with a big heart. He is survived by his father, Tom Moore of Indiana; brother, Tom Moore; sisters, Cindy Griggs of Tucson and Chrissie, whose husband, Derek Lerma, is stationed at Lachland AFB and living at Cibola, Texas; uncle, Leo Holt of Taylor; aunt, Joyce Juchau of Eden, Idaho; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Holt Moore and his special Aunt Alvie Holt. Owens Livingston Mortuary-Heritage Chapel in Snowflake handled the arrangements.
