Snowflake’s Lady Lobos opened region play in Winslow on Tuesday prior to Christmas and after staying close with the Lady Bulldogs through the first half, they faltered in the second half losing their initial east region game by a final of 60-51.
Overall on the season the Lobos are 7-8, but in power point regular season contests they stand at just 1-5 and will need to gain ground in early January to qualify for the post season.
Snowflake will resume playing in January with a tough three-game stretch. On Jan. 5, they travel to face 7th ranked Payson. Snowflake travels to face 4th ranked Monument Valley the following day. On Jan. 9, they will welcome in second ranked Holbrook.
