The Lady Wildcats picked up their first regular season win of the season on Friday night, but unfortunately dropped games on both sides of that win.

Their week began on Tuesday with a 68-20 loss to visiting St. Michael. Friday night was a better outing for the team as they picked up their first power point win of the season with a 34-26 home court win over Ash Fork. They couldn’t keep that momentum going the following day with a long trip to Grand Canyon where they came up short in a 61-35 final outcome.

They hosted Cibecue on Tuesday and will be off until Dec. 29, when they face Camp Verde at the Yvonne Johnson Memorial Tournament. The Lady Cowboys are the host team for the tournament. Joseph City will return to regular season action on Jan. 4 when they travel to Flagstaff to face Northland Prep.

Currently the Wildcats are 2-10 overall.
