The regular Snowflake Men’s Golf Club outing took place on Oct. 19. The low gross winner was Don Ottmann with a score of 77. Tying for second were Tom Black and Mark McDonald with scores of 81. The low net winner was Gene Lippard with a score of 63. Second place went to Gordon Townsend with a 65, and third to Ray Cox with a 67. Skins winners with a handicap below 20 included: Tom Black on holes No. 11 and 14; John Hardy, No. 10; and Don Ottmann, No. 3. Skins winners with a handicap of 20 and above included, John Benguhe on hole No. 14; Bob Nuth, No. 3; and Doug Witte, No. 9. Chip-in pot winners were Don Ottmann, hole No. 5; and Bill Laduke, No. 13. Snowflake’s Walking Wednesday nine-hole event takes place at 1 p.m. every Wednesday and is open to any golfer who wants to participate. Last Wednesday’s gross score winner was Gary Crandell with a score of 36. Second place went to Allen Graham with a 39. The net score winner was Bill Dye with a score of 31. Tom Bergman was second with a 31.5. Wednesday skins winners were Mike Foley on hole No. 1; Gary Crandell, No. 6; Tom Black, No. 7; and Allen Graham, No. 8.
