Both Holbrook Soccer teams will put a wrap on their 2017 seasons with final matches played this week.
The Lady Roadrunners, while going winless this season have shown improvement throughout the campaign. Despite their 0-11 record they have plenty to be positive about and should return a formidable team next season, behind stand out goalie Holly Hill. Holbrook had just one match during the Fall break losing 3-0 to visiting Snowflake. Holbrook played well, battling the Lobos to a scoreless match until the 25 minute mark of the second half before Snowflake put together three goals. Holbrook had some good scoring chances but failed to find the back of the net. The Lady Roadrunners will have closed out their regular season on Tuesday after hosting second ranked Round Valley.
The boys soccer team has also not won a match, but they have forged their way to one tie, coming against Ash Fork last month. Holbrook will host Page on Thursday for their final match of the season.
Seniors will be recognized for both the boys and girls teams on their respective season finale matches at Roadrunner Stadium.
