The Lady Lobos have been in practice for a couple of weeks preparing for the 2017 volleyball season. They hope to improve on last year’s 29-12 overall record, which included a semifinal loss in the state tournament.
Snowflake Coach Alan Ramage returns a veteran team with 12 upperclassmen, including seniors Katlyn Papa, Chandler Johnson, Makayla Ramage, Erin Willis, Lauren Hunt and Alyssa Brinkerhoff, along with juniors Shaylee Chapman, Jaylee Powers, Janessa Elkins, Lanee Penrod, Claire Christensen and Sydney Bauer. Chloe Lyman is the only underclassman on the roster.
The ladies will see their first official action on Tuesday, Aug. 29, when they travel to Safford to get their season started.
