The Holbrook School District Governing Board gave approval May 9 to offering a contract to Kevin Fosburgh to serve as principal of Hulet Elementary School. Prior to that decision, the board accepted the retirement of Principal Mike McClellan, who has taken a position as an elementary school principal in the Round Valley School District.

According to Superintendent Dr. Robbie Koerperich, Fosburgh was selected from a quality candidate pool. The Rodel Foundation of Arizona also recognized Fosburgh as a Rodel Promising Teacher.

Fosburgh went on to attain his Master in Educational Administration degree from Grand Canyon University.

He most recently taught at San Marcos Elementary School, which is part of the Chandler School District. He and his wife Hailey have a 2-year-old daughter.
