The Sun Valley Native American Christian Academy basketball team has won its second championship in a row. By defeating Mountain Christian School 38-29, the Warriors have won back-to-back championships for the first time in the Desert Pine Sports League. Heavyn Halwood and Van Dewey led the team in the quest to be champions. As eighth graders, the leaders will promote out, but the team has left a legacy for those behind them to follow. The hard work and dedication has become a NACA trademark as staff, alumni and parents are proud to call them Warriors.
