The Bulldogs ended their season last Wednesday with a 3-2 loss to the Chinle Wildcats in a play-in game at Winslow. The loss ended Winslow’s season with a 10-15-1 record. The young Bulldogs played well near the end of the season and were showing improvement.

Chinle took a 2-0 lead in the top of the fifth inning and increased it to 3-0 in the top of the sixth. Winslow got two runs in the bottom of the sixth, but failed to score in the seventh and last inning.

Winslow had three hits to 10 for the Wildcats, but each team had only one earned run.

At the plate for the Bulldogs, Brennan Sawyer was 1 for 2; Jacob Guerrero, 1 for 3; and Daniel Vizcaya, 1 for 4 with a double.
